I have loved discovering surrealist Mina Loy and her only, indescribable, novel ‘Insel’ (her poetry will come next).
Her disdain for short, simple sentences and her (highly achieved) indulgence on long, twisted, shocking and bizarre phrases makes me recover faith in the English language as a vehicle for meaningful unorthodox & disorderly expression.
I am joining the long-winded disorienting phrase brigade. It will be impossible to tweet any of it!
